Paper Roller Coaster: Slope
Overview
This module explores computational thinking in math by designing and building a paper roller coaster. Students will experimentally determine the slopes needed for a marble to make it through various challenges in the coaster (e.g., loop, curves). Then students will build their roller coasters and test them in a competition with classmates. This module can be used as a co-teaching or inter-disciplinary project with social studies.
