Through this Discovery students will learn and practice two historical techniques for encrypting messages and how those methods can be decrypted without a key.
Through this Discovery students will learn and practice two historical techniques for encrypting messages more complex than simple substitution ciphers, the Vigenère Cipher and Enigma Device.
Through this Discovery students will learn the difference between encryption and encoding then practice two modern methods of encrypting information after it has been encoded.
In this Activity, students use cooperative and problem-solving skills to complete an "escape room" type scenario. This activity incorporates skills and knowledge gained throughout all Discoveries. It is not recommended as a standalone activity without first completing the Cryptography module as a whole.
