Intro Text

{This workshop is suited for high school teachers.}

CYBER.ORG’s Cyber Society course focuses on research analysis, critical thinking, teamwork, and written and verbal communication skills. The modules are designed to introduce students to how the world of cyber affects their everyday lives, with topics ranging from law and politics to artificial intelligence and media literacy. The skills they learn from these modules will help them be more confident in how they interact with the ever-growing and connected world around them. In this virtual workshop, you will participate in sample activities from the Cyber Society course and learn to implement them in your classroom. This is a full day virtual workshop (9am-11am Central and 1pm-3pm Central.) K-12 educators in the US will leave our session with access to no-cost lessons provided by CYBER.ORG. For Louisiana teachers, Cyber Society is a universal Jump Start Pathway course.
