Intro Text

Use an online simulated environment known as a cyber range to explore security tools, understand how various cyberattacks operate, and learn to detect and mitigate attacks. Teachers will learn how to prepare students to earn professional certifications like CompTIA Security+.

Participants will receive Zoom links for the following workshop times (all session times listed in Central):

  • Session 1: Monday, July 20, 2:30 - 4:00 pm
  • Session 2: Wednesday, July 22, 2:30 - 4:00 pm
  • Session 3: Friday, July 24, 2:30 - 4:00 pm

This workshop will be led by subject matter experts from the National Integrated Cyber Education Research Center (NICERC). Instructors will be available as needed between Zoom meetings to answer questions and troubleshoot.

Due to grant funding requirements, this workshop is only open to K-12 educators in the U.S. with a valid school email address.

Can't make these dates? NICERC is offering an identical workshop on July 13, 15, & 17.
