This online workshop serves as an introduction to the Linux command line for educators preparing to teach Cybersecurity. Linux is the most widely utilized operating system in the cybersecurity world. The free, open-source nature of this operating system ensures security experts a stable platform to work from. Linux 102 builds off of the Linux 101 workshop for navigating the Linux operating system.
This lab covers text viewing, file redirection and the following Linux terminal commands: wc, grep, chown, chmod, su, sudo, du, df, and tree
This workshop will be led by subject matter experts from CYBER.ORG. Participants will receive free access to online curriculum materials for their classroom. Due to grant funding restrictions, this workshop is only available to K-12 teachers in the US.
