Intro Text

This 2-day online workshop will explore different web application attacks that can occur against social media accounts, online bank accounts, learning management systems, etc. Attendees will perform these attacks as both the hacker and victim. They will learn how these attacks work as well as how they can defend themselves against these attacks.

Please note that this workshop comprises two sessions on two different days:

  • Part 1: Monday, May 3 (6 - 7:30 pm Central)
  • Part 2: Thursday, May 6 (6 - 7:30 pm Central)

The following Labs, from CYBER.ORG's Cybersecurity course, are covered in this workshop:

  • SQL Injection Lab
  • Command Injection Lab
  • Cross-site Scripting (XSS) Lab
  • Session Hijacking
  • CSRF 2 Lab
  • Typosquatting Lab

This workshop will be led by subject matter experts from the CYBER.ORG. Zoom links will be emailed before the webinar begins.

Participants will receive access to online curriculum materials as well as a temporary log-in to the U.S. Cyber Range. Due to grant funding restrictions, this workshop is only open to K-12 educators in the U.S.
