Students will learn how the human eye works with the brain to process sight. Students will create a model of vision. Students will bend light by making two periscope designs.
Students explore how the brain processes information. They will also create their own animation using what they have learned about human sight.
Students will research other senses, such as smell. Students will also learn what their pets are able to see.
Students will explore what insects see and how plants attract insects. Students will also learn about the different structures that organisms have to help them survive.
Students explore the variety and benefits of colorblindness.
Using what you have learned about sunflowers, decide how to position a solar panel to maximize its efficiency, or allow it to work the best.
