Investigate genetics and heredity through the Engineering Design Process
Students study the adaptations resulting from the passing a near-Earth asteroid. Students classify and describe the particular adaptations of these new creatures.
Students are asked to determine what the offspring would look like based on the parents of fictitious pets called Zaboos.
Students create specific eukaryotic cells using various objects. Once the cells are complete, each team will exchange cells with another team and reverse engineer the new cell.
